Get Involved - Going Racing

Each year there are over 200 race meetings in this country, providing opportunities for a wide variety of cars – from standard road going saloons to slight and heavily modified saloons and single seater racing cars. There are many keenly contested championships based on regions, individual circuits, makes of car or types of car. Although motor racing can never be truly cheap, racing at club level is the backbone of the sport in this country and need not be prohibitively expensive. It is still possible to race a car which you have driven to the circuit, You just need to hope you can drive it home again!

SEMSEC structure their meetings so that competitors have the opportunity to enter more than one race per meeting and at discounted rates.

SEMSEC meetings also have several guest championships visit through-out the season including the spectacular Formula 5000s, MGs, the Triumph TR Register and historic GTs.
